heritage 202 Posted June 1, 2010 Report Share Posted June 1, 2010 (edited) I prefer to use old duvets/jumpers ect...the sleeping quarters generally have a scattering of woodshavings in there to help insulate the floor and absorb any water/dirt thats carried in. I know about hay being dusty but i would also avoid straw...it has very sharp edges and you run the risk of introducing ticks,also avoid sawdust,the particles are too small and can become a problem,i find equestrian woodshavings to be a better choice,atb Edited June 1, 2010 by heritage Quote Link to post
