Harrison v Sprott

Recommended Posts

As much as i love the sport i will lose every bit of faith in it if Harrison ever wins a world title....which i dont think he will.

Ok he landed a great punch late on in the fight but ive never seen a fighter at international level with such fear of taking a punch !!...he flinches every time a fighter starts throwing punches and in my opinion is simply not a fighter in his heart.....it was a shame for sprott he,d done the hard part.

you aint wrong, i was at the heavyweight prizefighter last year, when he won everyone just got up and left. the wee irish man he beat was all over him him the first round, and i shouted myself horse, i swear i thought the fella had him beat, he just punched himself out and then got caught. harrison was the same then, whenever it was put on him, he was shying away. no disrespect to sprott, but the fact that a fighter of his quality can cause him(harrison) that much bother, pretty much sums up the level he's at. i can't see him bothering any of the title holders...

edited to say, the barker fight was a good un, tho where the judges got them scores from i do not know! he got that by the skin of his teeth...

The BBC gave him a Million £ signing fee to fight exclusively for them even before he had a single professional bout, so the hunger had gone even before he had a pro fight.

He's never going to win a world title, and frankly doesn't deserve the chance to compete for one. His heart just isn't in it.

PS. Nice punch he caught Sprott with to win the bout though.
