TOMO 29,300 Posted April 7, 2010 Report Share Posted April 7, 2010 there have been lots of people saying they dont let there dogs have water on this thread. but as yet, not one of you has given a reason???? as for the last reply, dogs being unfit get real fella, if a dogs working hard giving it a drink water is a benafit to it. and if ya think my dogs are unfit, take a look at my old posts and whats all these matcho replys, "there working dogs" implying they dont need a drink. dytkos 17,982 Posted April 7, 2010 Report Share Posted April 7, 2010 ok lads n lasses new too lurchers to be honest , question is your out lamping just one dog okay, after a few runs or so you move more than likely new fields during this time dogs get a rest but whats this rehydration tablets or formula you can buy , like to hear some views on this , also whats the best , thought too much water can result in damage to dogs, thanks all atb terrier NEVER GIVE MY DOGS WATER WHEN OUT LAMPING IF YOUR DOGS FIT HE SHOULD COPE.IF HES UNFIT AND OVER WEIGHT THEN U COULD HAVE SOME TROUBLE Glad you don't come out with me, Mr. Macho! cooper101 86 Posted April 7, 2010 Report Share Posted April 7, 2010 I mix up a bottle of water and glucose to take with me!! Just to givevmy dog a refresh on the way round!! I even have a sip myself if I'm thirsty!! He's fit as a flea but I still wouldn't deprive him of water !! Somtimes he wants it somtimes he dosent but i give him the choice anyway!! Quote Link to post
