Mesarya 2
I have a Rapid7 now started to leak air from trigger area when buddy bottle screwed back on. I was wondering if any of you experienced similar problem and what might be the cause of leakage. Appreciate for you advice, thanks Quote Link to post
slingshot82 32
I have a Rapid7 now started to leak air from trigger area when buddy bottle screwed back on. I was wondering if any of you experienced similar problem and what might be the cause of leakage. Appreciate for you advice, thanks Are you sure the air is leaking around the trigger area? I think the only way this would happen is if the 'o' ring on the valve stem and/or the valve body is worn. If the air is leaking past it, it will be leaking into where the hammer weight is. This is obviously located directly above the trigger. A service kit will probably sort it, you get the black valve body in the service kit but if the valve stem is damaged, you have to buy that seperately. I hope this has helped. Si They are very easily repaired Si, so easy most people with the most basic of tool kits can manage it. As im sure you know already, nothing lasts forever and some parts fail sooner than others no matter what the application. ATB Kyle Quote Link to post
