collie/grey 238
It's not really a question is it and it's not just bull x's that have hard mouths, my bitch will bring the rabbits she catches back live to hand and most of the time you wouldn't know it had been caught by a dog! Especially the mighty 'bull x'!!! Quote Link to post
cooper101 86
kind of why im asking to see if any go against the nature of there breeding and dont chomp down!! i know all breeds can bruise them ffs my mates half collie x grey is terrible for crunching the rabbits!! just genuinly intrested and not trying to slate them in any way!! bird 10,014
i think most lurchers will bruse+mark rabbits, lets face it when runing at 30mph hand grabing something ,its got to have a few marks on it. My dog will bring back live, most of the time. But even they are alive , when they have been despatched+skined there still is marks on them. I think it comes down to the dog, not the x, what ever the quarry is most dogs will mark it, and more so if they are knacked.! Quote Link to post
