Question fofr the Bull x owners???

Recommended Posts

i was havinga conversation with a friend who runs a bull x and i was talking about the butchers not taking rabbits off me if they have brusing!!

we got onto the subject of lamped rabbits and i do get a few that have a bit of brusing mainly round the shoulders and somtimes if its a desperate strike its battered but the majority of mine are in good condition!!

he said that his dog crunches them everytime he usally feeds all his rabbits to the ferrets and the dogs!! whats the story with yours!! i know they are not bred for soft mouths but i was intrested to know the answer to this question!!

cheers

i think most lurchers will bruse+mark rabbits, lets face it when runing at 30mph hand grabing something ,its got to have a few marks on it. My dog will bring back live, most of the time. But even they are alive , when they have been despatched+skined there still is marks on them. I think it comes down to the dog, not the x, what ever the quarry is most dogs will mark it, and more so if they are knacked.!
