shotgunny 39
hi guys was out this evening trying to nab a few pigeons on the way back to roost when i saw 2 large black items in the middle of the field. As i walked over to see what it was they took off, There was 2 of the birds slighlty bigger than crows but they were black with white undersides. The main thing that struck me about these birds was the noise they made. It was like nothing ive ever heard from a bird. I would like to know what these birds are so if any one knows what they please post. happy hunting myles Quote Link to post
Yashca 0
That's really strange. I went out for a walk earlier and saw exactly the same birds, black with white undersides. One of them was making a noise that sounded almost like sqeaky growling. Quote Link to post

Treacle Trackpad 6
Could be Lapwings, but could also be Oyster Catchers. There's loads of them by me and they make a right old racket. Did you see a bright orange beak? Quote Link to post
