ben0777317 0
Hi, My 7 month old Beddy whippet had her first couple of runs on rabbits today, unfortunately she made quite a bit of noise...wondered if this will stop as she gets older and more confident? I don't suppose there is much you can do about it. Thanks in advance for any advice.

ben0777317 0
At 7 months old i'm not suprised its opening up .... Maybe the bitch is too young then....saying that she's pretty much fully grown and if she happens to chase a rabbit while I'm out walking I'm not going to discourage her.... blackpack 70
she is yapping mate because of the age, far too young eapecially on day time bunnies, they are not far enough from the hedge so the PUP is not getting on terms, let it be a pup plenty of time to catch game
sandymere 8,263
Keep it away from game for the summer then lamping early next season and pick youngsters, squatters etc to give early success and you may get away with it but nothing definate. Use the summer to get it fit and trained and more mature.
