Even with a telephoto lense you still have to get as close as you can. I got a decent distance away from this ringed plover, and have cropped it a lot to show the difference it can make..Its over sharpened a little..didnt have time to work on it too much.. I take around 200 when Im out, at the Farnes last year I filled 3 4GB memory cards in one day..Practice makes perfect, getting to know what your camera can do and work on the cameras settings till you get what your after.
