martinhalli 735
Hi all am thinking of getting a new pup later in the year and not sure what to get, am wanting a good all-rounder with good stamina and plenty brains. I have been thinking about something like this [1/2 greyhound,1/4 deerhound, 1/4 collie]. Have any of you had a dog bred like this and any opinions welcome thanks. mh. Quote Link to post

runforyourlife 361
DO you not think you should be thinking what you want to run? What terrain you will be working, ie; open land, meadows, rough ground, bush, uplands, lowlands, moorland. As a 26 too 28" animal cant really be a fast mover over rough irratic moorland. A 24" lurcher is more likely to be an out and out all rounder... lots of things to think about beofre you just ask what kind of dog you should .... Quote Link to post
