Guest traceyg
Daffodils Well I hope you all know its mothers day on Sunday. But have you noticed the lateness of the daffodils as I small child I always borrowed my mum a bunch of daffs from the side of the road or growing wild in the fields .I told this story many times to my children when they were smaller of how I used to go on a daffodil hunt all week and hide them till mothers day when the house would be full of half dead daffs. So as we have lots of overgrown land and fields behind us my kids have always borrowed a few over the years. But this year they are only just showing there heads here I recon they are about three weeks late the snowdrops and crocuses are still looking fresh. Has any body else noticed the effects of the weather?

Tiff 36
ours are JUST starting to pop up, just the first inch or so above ground. But it has been c-o-l-d all winter with only one break in the weather in December for a few days when normally every few weeks there seems to be "nice" days here and there. And now it has been wet and particularly miserable for the past 2 weeks, so although it has been warmer, it has been dreary. Can't wait to see my first blooms!
