if you mean new pups , like a few weeks old , then personly i would have the lamp on. a 6 month old pup may be ok, personly i have the heat lamp on all the time at night even for my adults

if you got young pups keep the lamp on especially at night and in the day if its at all chilly bit of expence but worth every penny of the bill if you value your pups . and i dont mean you but if anyone does begrudge the extra bit of expense they shouldnt be rearing a litter anyway.

heat lamp on them mate you will find that they will come along much quicker, a worm pup is a happy pup at this time of year, no sense in having the shivering in the corner of your kennel

alrite people could use please help me out here, would the pups be ok without a heat lamp in the kennal this time of year atb :hmm:

,only ever had one litter in 30plus years ,if i was breeding to sell then heat lamp ,if any of the pups were for myself then no heat lamp \i would want a dog that grew up natural ,they are better for it .if a few died then so be it ,survival of the fittest .
