They give higher MV and better downrange accuracy. They are also produced in the USA for use in handguns. I haven't been able to source info about the position in the UK, but I suspect that the lack of markings on the bullet, as said above, would not go down well with the fuzz. The ultimate sabot round is fired by the 120mm cannon used in the American Leopard battle tanks. Plastic case, Depleted Uranium core, mv over 5000fps. I can get a 110 vmax to run at 4100fps I am not sure what a 55 grain would do I think I would have trouble with the bullet fragmenting in flight a mate of mine has the software to run the load on his computer I will call him and get the numbers Quote Link to post
