FOXHUNTER 5,022
The weather has been very good this past week so I popped out at the weekend to finish off a few does and call it a day til the bucks start. Stalked the low ground first and had a doe after 5 mins from alighting from the car I then continued up to the high ground where snow was still lying and managed another !! A pleasant morning in beautiful surroundings Edited March 8, 2010 by FOXHUNTER Quote Link to post

john robbo 30
Another "good" do mate well done. We stalked into 8 this morning and wanted to target either of the yearling does sadly 1 of the mature does (looking like a barrel) came down the wood first to meet us. She came 25ft off us and was puzzled for sometime before finally jumping the gutter and running onto the field. The other 7 bunched up with her and we couldn't find a way into a follower for the bullets path. I was very disapointed but the client was fine (we had done the right thing) That way we will have sustainable stalking. Out in the morning again but only for followers. Regards john.
