Right, my pup (7 months old in 9 days) has been doing great. She's been retrieving, jumping, recalling, sitting, laying down.

Recently, she is starting to turn a little bit ignorant. say she is 50 yards away from me, working her way down a dyke, "SKYE" i shout, her head doesn't even raise, and her ears don't prick up in the slightest.

This to me, is very very annoying. Is there anything i can do to knock this out of her and whip her back into shape?

(don't take that last sentence out of context)

She's become complacent, change your tactics to reiterate exactly who is the boss! ;) , walk away from her when she doesn't listen to your commands, make out you don't give a s**t and she will wonder why. She has probably been the centre of your world since you became her owner and she probably thinks she is now in charge, nip it in the bud now otherwise she will always be the one in command. Best of luck mate! Pups are great aren't they?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
