I don't shoot pheasants myself with an airgun but i know of people who do.

 

The thing that bothers me is that the shooting season for pheasants ended on the 1ts of february. So the pheasant was taken 20 days out of season and is unofrtunately illegal. So i'd take it out of the picture if i was you

 

I work as a part time game keeper on a large shooting estate and know plenty of farmers/keepers who would be very upset indeed at you taking a pheasant out of season.

 

Your friend should read up on shooting seasons buddy.

 

 

Well done with the rest of the shooting though.

 

(Ps. Please don't take this as a "beasting" it's an easy mistake to make when your not up to date with your shooting seasons)

Unfortunately mate. I don't think you can expect much else when you've done something like this. The last thing the sport need's is more bad press. I think you'll agree with me on that.

for f**k sake youve got 14 post snoopy and your acting like you run the place if you run your new site like this it wont last,,,, the kids made a mistake everyone has done it at some stage even you stop rubbing his face in it ,, most of the regs on here are sound lads but there is some of you the only time we here from yous is when your having ago at others

Obviously it's been taken completely the wrong way. And i apologise for that, Festa.

 

In answer to your post. No i won't allow members to post pictures of quarry that is shot out of season and yes i will advise them to have a read over the shooting seasons to avoid them getting into any trouble. Personally, i feel extremely happy when people come back with decent bags like the one pictured above this time of the year and as i have already said to Pest', it's a big thumbs up from me on what seems like some bloody good shooting. A post count has nothing to do with anything when it comes to giving advice. I join forums to learn what i can and share experience. That works both ways for me. Putting the negative points out of the way. The positive outcome is that i shall post a game shooting season list on our forum so that members who do choose to shoot game can be doubly sure of when and when they can't take them.

 

Once again, good shooting Pest' and apologies to festa, maybe i should have explained my posts abit more.

i agree with you snoopy but people make mistakes and when it happens everyone jumps on the person making the mistake instead of educating them
