squirreltail 15
Information please from southern Ireland.Question.Is anyone allowed to let their lurcher chase and catch hare and rabbit in small quantities for the pot. Where would be the best area?. Is there anyone over there with first hand experience willing to answer questions. It would be most appreciated. Just returned from Mayo, met up with top courser at Tobercurry, greyhounds of course.not my taste to chase hares that have been penned and not on their own territory , not knocking it know its a tremendously popular sport but much prefer a hare to have the chance of escape on his own ground.Grandfather told me many tales of chasing hare in Ireland but that was years ago, they seem scarcer now, also do the rabbits.
