Had another look out today, down North Yorks way. Bloody freezing, but worth it anyway. Three of us and one of the bairns set off at 6.30, got there and sorted at about 8. First set was a bit quiet but the auld fella got 1. Me and the bairn went onto a bigger set to put the longnet out, bolted 8 but only got 3 I'll figure this longnet out one day . Kept moving, progessing canny, bolting at least 2 out of every set, then came the dig . 5ft dig, ferret boxed in either side, couldn't get out, just my luck. Moved onto a few old faithfuls, nice small sets producing 3 rabbits out of each. Farmer noticed bunnies about so asked us to do the hay bales, netted up as best we could and chucked 3 big hobs in. Bugs hit the net instantly and 2 big rats the size of chuffing cats followed shortly after, dog thought it was her birthday. Anyway, a good day out and 26 rabbits in the bag, so it's all good

Good bag Trev you doing fine with the longnets..just keep at it & once you know the rabbits bolt paths on your grounds you'll be sorted...it ain't a black art

another good day trev pity about haveing to dig dopey out any way her that will be obeyed had a couple bottles of brown dog in the fridge for is happy birthday for next week and dont get to drunk.speak to you soon.
