trouble with magnet

went shooting last week, all going well untill the magnet packed in, the main rod in the middle had sheered right off the motor, took it apart when i got home and saw it's only 6mm bar, bit of a shit design really only used it three times it's a expensive model too, anyway has anybody else had a problem? thought about making my own, any ideas folks?

my mate makes them with window wiper motors. work a treat one of the lads have had theres for bout 5 year and still no bother

lee can get a motor which you would have to slow down.

cheers lads, which window wiper motor would be the best? they vary in size quite a bit

pm higun off this site his just made 2 using old land rover wiper motors and the ones his made r alot stronger than the 1s you buy
