gave my ferrets a good go over this morning found alot of little ticks so went the vets got frontline spray masaged it into them with plastic gloves from the chemist hope it gets rid of um anyone else used the frontline spray what the results like cheers

My hob had them bad at one point, used frontline oin him and within a week they were gonhe. mJust make sure you clean them out at the exact same time as you treat them

Youve done the right thing,, save yourself some money next time. get a bottle of front line it lasts forever and some rubber gloves give them a good rub with it and few days later they should be all gone, already stated make sure you clean out the hutch, bet youve had a hedgehog about.,

yes i got the bottle of spray like said will last for ages, where we were ferreting last sunday there was a lot of deer around there prolific for ticks

the best way to get rid of ticks is white spirits. get a cotton bud and dip it in the white spirits then put the bud on top the ticks head and at the samepull it out with twessers. works ever time for me but i would advice u get sum1 to hold the ferret by the head

I just use a tick hook cheap, safe and simple to use

i know theres lots of difrent methods from byegon years but as the title says it was an infestation of tiny ones, if it was just one or two big uns would of got the tick hook out i think the bottle of frontline was a smart investment as it will last me next season as well for all my ferrets, and besides all tiks are now gone, heads and all with minimum stres to the ferrets
