longdog13 36
well guys, a beautiful day saw me head of to One of the many many holiday parks! I went with Jamie93 off here. We took my four ferrets, and Jamies Hob. Unfortunately J's hob didn't see any work due to him being of the hard variety and needs to be dug to after a kill, And that doesn't work well when ferreting under chalets! We started with a simple 1 holer under a chalet, above the concrete base. My bew jill in , one swift rabbit out. Number 1 in the bag, number 2 came from a longnetted chalet after being evicted by all 4 putting the pressure on Then off to show our faces outside the site office, the row of chalets opposite are suffering well at the paws of the furry beasties Due to the time restraints on this permission, 4hours only > we only managed to ferret 6 of the 20 odd buildings. The pup is coming on really well, this is his second trip out, he's jumping the net very well without hesitation and pegging netted rabbits with increasing confidence, although he's only expected to watch and learn at the moment, the real work starts next season ;D well we got a further 4 rabbits from here including a very fast double bolt into the same section, and the tangled nicely. Ending the day on 6 bagged and 2 lost. Heres the pics Chilaxing The obligatory eod shot Quote Link to post

Brimmer 220
The pup reminds me of our best dog ever mate. Just by the looks of it. A dopey blue dog that turned out to be the most determined animal anyone had seen. Please keep me up to date on this dog! I want to know how how he goes on! Quote Link to post

I will do Brimmer mate His training has gone from strength to strength, and a real pleasure to have around. The fact that he's pegging netted bunnies after two teaching trips has really given hope to a bright future. Plenty of posts next season i'm sure Atvb LD13 Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
The rabbits burrowing seems to have done a fair bit of damage to the concrete bases on the chalets, bet the tennants and the site owner will be glad to see the back of them Quote Link to post
