Deker 3,455
Many years back when I started all this Malarky I tended to be a bit unhappy if I came home with a Blank, but over the years I have not only got better (but I still blank sometimes) but I have learnt to drink in the surroundings! The countryside has all sorts of secrets you steadily learn and see over the years, and anyone who has been shooting for a while sees FAR more than any "Rambler". I often think how lucky I am to see on a virtually daily basis things many people will never see in a lifetime!! Nature at work is a wonderful thing!! (but I still tend to enjoy it a bit more when it's not pouring with rain) The "bag" is just the result of a much bigger adventure!! Quote Link to post
mattydski 560
yep, its just good to be out side, and if the opportunity presents its self when your out....so much the better. Did just the same last night with the rifle, just went out and was luck enough to get a rabbit and crow. The dog was lucky enough to get a 'follow' behind the truck, so she was happy too Quote Link to post
