Guest jt750
I have an epson R220 and it prints lovely even tho its a couple of years old ..so tbh i would go with an epson because the more different colour cartridges the better the print( someone will shoot me down for this) Also if you get the original cartridges for printing photo's you won't be far wrong and get the cheap copies (refilled if you wish) for the day to day running of it One thing just bear in mind the replacement cartridge price can be severely expensive on the pocket Edited February 3, 2010 by jt750

Coyotehunter 689
I'm with Kay on this one, you just can't do your pictures justice on consumer printers, as well as it works out no cheaper and the results IMO are worse

But doing your own printing does mean that you can run off a few test prints and get them looking exactly how you want. Most of the new photo printers that are around £-100 give excellent results straight out of the box, but you do need to use the proper photo paper.
