A dove with the Chinese TS45

Hi all,

 

This is my first kill with the Chinese TS45 that was donated to me to be done up by Shay a regular on here.

 

It was hit at about 20 metres in the side of the head, with the .177 calibre RWS Superdome pellet drilling straight out the top of its head.

 

Just goes to show that you dont need a £700 PCP to get yourself a bit of dinner or kill some vermin.

 

It would be nice to see more posts on here of lads and lasses shooting some older springers to kill some vermin.

 

Its nice to see that i still havent forgotten how to shoot a springer

Not sure pal,

 

The gunsmith gave it to me for free when i visited him the other day.

 

I think it was one he took out of a rifle that was getting tuned but was still ok.

 

It seems to have bumped the power up to around 11 FP i would guess.

well i dont know what to say but thank you for the compliments buddy and she looks good and thank you for giving my sons old gun and new lease of life si thank you and great shooting si you still have it matey so you thinking of going back to springers ? hummmm i am really thinking of it still got my pcp's but the springer collection is getting bigger 2 prosports 2 tx2000hc 2 theoben evo's 1 hw97 1 hw77 1 hw80 1 bsa lighting 1 aa pro elite, so has you asked me a while ago am i going back to springer hummm looks like it buddy lol but i am loving it matey you really know you have been shooting when you have been out with a springer and feeling that recoil. well si again thank you very much and i think we are looking forward to seing the new dvd as well and to be honest si your a very good shooter and you have proofed that by all the youtube and dvd's you have done and again very good in how you explain everything in detail so all your dvd are so easy to watch and understand even my son now asks me if you are on tv 2 night and shows his grandad and friends your dvds all the time so if a 9 year old can understand everything you say matey and how it's done the future isn't bleak for the young airgunners as they will carry this on from now till end. great shooting again matey and your a top bloke and good friend si alot of people can learn alot just from watching you in the field or just from targets in the hanger.

Im glad that your son is interested in shooting too, as it is important that we teach our children like our fathers, freinds or family members before taught us this fantastic sport.

 

A well repsected and wise ex boss of mine once said "A good teacher and instructor is someone who can explain technical details at a lower level so everyone can understand easily".

yes matey very true words but it takes a friend and not a teacher show the true hunter in all of us we can only teach so much but the way you do it is so different as your heart is in showing and not teaching matey and this comes out in all your dvd's and youtube vids matey and i bet gary will agree and many others to buddy me and my family wish you all the luck while you are out there and i am going to be buggered now aint i no more youtube vids lol my nights at work are going to be boring now lol but i think we are all wishing you the best of luck buddy you have done alot for all of us on here i think it's a shame to see you go matey i have family out there to and they live on barraks too so i might be over that way come summer matey but will let you know full details closer the time buddy.
