You've been involved in the hunt or chase and being bloodied means you've been at the conclusion ie:the kill There's still a lot of these old hunting traditions being continued eg: in some parts of Germany and Eastern Europe at the conclusion of either stalking or hunting deer or wild boar, a handful of grass or herbage is placed in the dead animal's mouth! some say its the hunters way of giving the animal a last meal before its spirit moves on? this is done with some reverence and a great deal of respect Tom what does it mean then?
