Couple of hours out

Recommended Posts

Woke up this morning to my Grandpapapa telling me it's nice weather for ferreting. So after abiut 30 mins of him keep saying the same thing I though fek it I might aswell get up because I'm not going to be able to get back to sleeep. When I went downstairs he kept telling me the weather is lovely for ferreting so I said come on them we'll go to which he replied it's too cold for him :clapper: Anyway got all the gear together and we shortly arrived at the orchard. He then said is it a long walk to the buries and I said no so he said he will come LOL.

First set was a 10 holer. Netted up and hob in. Thump thump thump and one in the net. I then heard squeeling and waited a few minuted then got the locator out, 2ft and the ground was lovely and soft. Quick dig and number 2 was quickly dispatched. Next set a 3 holer but nothing at home. Then we went onto a 5 holer. Nets down hob in and the thumps were so loud I thought the farming was digging in his JCB. Numbers 3 and 4 were quickly in the bag. Then another 2 ft dig and number 5 was added. Nothing else was at home si decided to call it a day.

Only a couple of hours out but thoroughly enjoyed it and got 5 bunnies
