halamrose 24
Hay Guys, (dont we get any girls on here?) I've read that 22LR barrels last and last because of the soft bullets and low pressures. Is the same tue of HMR with its higher pressures and copper cased bullets? How do you know if a barrel is worn out anyway? Cheers, Halam Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
As for firing rounds through the barrel your not gonna be worrieed about that, it'll take loads... my main concern is what style of cleaning it got, bore snake only, or rods, if so are they the cheap split ones made from aluminium...? if so they could wear the rifling no end if care is not taken... if your in doubt take it to someone before you buy, or get a few shots through it before you buy to test accuracy... if it wasn't given a good copper cleaning routine also it will need a good scrub out... Atb. Snap. Quote Link to post
