yes mate had some success with them,always good to have a few different ones as well though

iv used the wam with good effect if i remember its the brass disc,also used the widgeon one aswell,silver disc,as you say there are lots on the market,try and get used to using your hand,that way you can vary your calling,volume pitch ect

WAM are ok in the right circumstances. But they don't work in the wind. And as already stated it best to have a couple of different types.

On a still day, from a laid-up position, I called two foxes to within 6 feet of me using the WAM over New Year.

It was their lucky day, as I don't shoot foxes on that particular piece of land, and did it as a demonstration to a friend new to fox shooting. Both were called within 10 mins.

i been using the wam call for few years now and find it very good but like the others said its always good to have a few differant ones
