Hi there people, please can anyone give me some advice. I have a Bull bitch who had a litter of pups about three months ago, she has started losing her coat, and obviously with her not having much coat to start off with she doesn't look too clever, any ideas what I can give her to get her coat back. theres a wash you can buy but its real good the name of it his aludex its a wash that cures all kinds of fur loss even black mange you will have to get a prescription from vets unless you now some one but its real good .

as others say could be mange or a hormonal imbalance due to having pup's

i would take her along to your vet to get her checked out

as she might just need a mange wash or an hormone injection

It is very normal for a bitch to suffer fur lose after whelping and rearing a litter. Often it is just the hormones regulating. A good quality balanced diet should be enough. If the bitch is aggrevating the bald areas herself, then maybe maleseb shampoo or a vet trip to be on the safe side.

Good Advice, what bedding is she on? Lice can cause significant hair loss aswell, so get her checked out and change all bedding. ATB with her.

The same thing happened till my bitch and the 2 pups l kepted back it was like it just happened over night.I give the dogs a bath about 4 times a week and got front line for them now there all fit and well but as ppl say lost off hair can be almost any thing so if it does not clear up after a few baths and frontline get her off till the vet.Is the hair lost on her back legs???????. Make sure yea give the kennnels a good clean out.

benzyl benzoat, best stuff you just rub it on the affected areas, used it on greyhounds before and it sorts them right out. You can get it from most chemists
