littlefish 598
Last night must have been one of the coldest yet, it is lunchtime now and the pond is still completely frozen over for the longest time ever. The fish are still moving about slowly under the ice.

littlefish 598
Crumbs... how much frost/ice can they take? Those fish were born in the pond and are now probably 8-10 years old and measure about 10 inches long. They are pretty hardy and healthy enough to spawn most springtimes. They only get fed from March-October every year. I tend not to fuss too much at them anditseems to suit them ok. They add a bit of colour to the garden. The pond is good for attracting birds and also bl**dy cats!!!!
