The one 8,592
Theres plenty of dvds out there mate just have alook for one of them ,I usually place them in the shape of a letter like w,u,v, facing differnt ways a few yards apart but leave most space in the middle for incoming birds to try to land Quote Link to post

silentshot1 206
Here you go mate! Try the patterns on the below link, or just search the pigeon shooting section on here (same thing!). It's enough to bring them in, even if you are only using shell decoys. If you're near a sitty tree (easy to spot by just watching the flight patterns) then they will almost definitely land in the tree, even if they're a bit nervous of the decoy pattern it's self and you can have plenty of pickings shooting them there and you get more time to aim. www.thehuntinglife.com/html/sections/articles/images/decoy-pattern1 I've discovered timing is everything in decoying. Pigeons follow a daily flight pattern and rarely break the cycle without physical disturbance. There's less point in putting out decoys, if the main body of pigeons have gone elsewhere! At this time of year, early morning and mid afternoon work for me and preferably over rape and near Mistletoe (They love the berries). Apparently, now is the most difficult time of year to attract pigeons, as they have spent the summer and early autumn being tricked in to landing to be shot at, the young and dumb have already been casseroled, but sticking with it and experimenting will pay off the first time it works right. It can really be rewading! Quote Link to post
