-=Magwitch=- 29
Was going to have a day out with the dogs today but with the weather conditions it was cancelled at the last minute, so as not to waste the day we decided to go ferreting instead. This particular spot the farmer had asked us to have a look at was situated near a cottage with the buries running all along the garden fence and down a bank that sloped away to a nearby dyke. The soil on this particular farm is clay and the digging is very hard going at the best of times, luckily after a slow start the rabbits started bolting and the bag begun to fill. I only had three ferrets out with me today two jills and a hob, all three worked faultlessly all day long pushing out every last rabbit......................we managed 25 rabbits today and uncle Albert even managed a smile.
