Out Today

With weather easing, (Kind of), myself and Jamie93 off of here decided today would be the one for his Orchard permission bunnies

 

 

Upon arrival i nearly wet myself when i saw this

 

Turns out it wasn't all nice chalky kick out, the helpful farmer had filled all the holes he could with LIME

 

So, we decided to net up the missed holes,

with no result

 

We also netted a long boarder bank,

+ nets later and the action was ready to commence.

 

We entered just two ferrets, Jamie's Hob and my Jill, working in harmony as usual

After about 1min of entering the hob we had our first rabbit in the net, this one had a massive neck wound, really bled well soon sorted and on with the game, we managed 9 big rabbits from this warren.

And then the heavens opened, rain sleet and snow, gale force winds and then it stopped as quickly as it started.

Time for lunch...... Then on to some open warrens at the back of the orchard, more lime but enough active holes to warrant a go at it

Entered four ferrets to this one, it was big

then promptly removed the two youngest Jills as they were misbehaving and the day was getting on abit

 

We had three digs, the first, to the hob, 3ft , two rabbits , next two to the jill, two ft and the other only 10 inches ,

With the light fading fast we picked up the last ferret at 16:10

 

Nets all sorted and another 7 Rabbits in the bag

 

So the total for the day, 16 bunnies, three digs, and a back ache for Jamie

Thats a dumb idea of the farmers to fill with lime, but you turned it around in the end, well done

Tell me about it the theory being they won't tunel through it
