IanB 0 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Share Posted September 22, 2006 If you have two 6v batteries wire them in series to give 12v, so basically the black(neutral) of one battery wired to the red (positive) of the other battery.....the remaining two connection points just use as normal +/- to provide you with your 12v, which will be 10ah, or if you wanted to wire them in parallel put the black to black, red to red to provide 6v with double the amperage 20ah.... If you only have a 12v charger wire 2 batteries in series...saves buying a 6v charger... Quote Link to post Share on other sites
