mushroom 14,220 Posted December 27, 2009 Report Share Posted December 27, 2009 Realtree pyjamas :laugh: Nikwax or Not sure of the name but the wife uses it in the wash to reproof the skiing gear and my hunting gear. she says it is wash in waterproof go to any outdoor store and they will stock it we buy it from Blacks or Cotswolds but any outdoor place will sell it. mushroom 14,220 Posted December 27, 2009 Report Share Posted December 27, 2009 It works on all my stuff even made a pair of water repellant Craghopper pants pretty much waterproof. It's not the nikwax it's a different one that she uses and it's not cheap either between £10 - £15 for a small bottle but definately worth it. Just to add you should never wash your waterproof gear in the washer with softner (comfort or whatever) it will break down the proofing a hell of a lot faster than if you just sponge, hose clean or even wash just with powder/liquid it's the same with most waterproof materials.
