hello everyone am new here and i was just wonder if they are any free sthing that are goin bout stuff your through out or not using (good nick plz)am only 14 so plz help me and wont to learn alot bout ferreting stuff like nets box anything really to do with fereting ?thank you and merry christmas

Look, you might get free stuff from your mum asking nicely, but I don't think you'll find it here.

 

 

I really don't know where to start, the obvious answer is to find a tutor, someone to take you out and teach the ropes, I'm sorry to say that a lad of 14 will have many passing interests and till some dedication is shown, there is a good chance it'll get left in your wardrobe (along with your skateboard and guitar).

 

Also, if you want anything in life, especially for free, try and make some sort of effort. I think you'll find that your results would be somewhat improved if you attempt to spell words correctly, and failing that just use a spellchecker.

fit like loon you could try scotads there normaly someone selling purse nets etc but they are only 12quid for 10 new ones as i was a young loon when i started ferreting because quite cheap hobbie borrow your dads spade box you can make your self quite cheap i have only just started using ferret finders lol as young boy i got some good books for the library but guess you could get some good info from net sure if you managed to get some gear some guys mite let you tag along on a ferreting trip with them i can see how some might think is you can buy purse net how you going to affored hutch and feed them if you can get rabbits wish you best of luck hope you stick at it

Id suggest you stay a member for at least a year, read all you can on each subject your interested in, join in some posts or put up your own topics, within that time you may get an invite out or two, just to give you a taster, then next year, ask the same question, with you then being an established member, people would be more willing to help you out

 

at the moment your asking questions on both getting a terrier and ferrets, neither are cheap to keep, no matter how much "free stuff" is gotten, theres still going to be other things needing paying for, your lucky in that you quote "dealing with foxes on your aunties farm" which will still be there in a years time, or prehaps you could offer others the chance to accompany you there, a favour for a favour so to speak

Thats sound advice from Stubby, I think alot of people would sooner give freebies to the members who have been around for abit. The reason i say that is because it dont take much for a person to claim there a youngster get some freebies, 2 months later make a new account and start all over. Try and get someone to maybe take you out, let you handle a few ferrets, you may not take to ferreting or ferrets after a few nips from one. Good luck! wish you the best of luck

you post this on christmas day did father christmas not bring you anything ? he never brought me a new gun so can someone give me a free one ? of course not i will have to save up for one. I know you claim to be 14 but get a fecking paper round and buy your own stuff like everyone else has to do. if anyone wants to give stuff away they will post it in the for sale section.

hi mate i know how u fill i posted the exsact thingsome time ago but the best thing is to save up buy the gear and learn about it buy the best if u can cos it is worth it at the end of the day and it is worth buying a locater mate i mite have a few things u can have mate but u wont get much asken somtimes u have to buy it but u mite be lucky il email u about stuff soon im only 15 my self but i can see were ur coming ffrom

best thing mate, get out with people we are all willing to help each other, if i have something spare when i'm out i'm willing to give, vice versa para1 is a star i needed some new pegs for my nets (even though we always use his lol) and what do you know he gave me 20 last sunday thanks mate your a star.

 

not just that, he gave me my first ferret oh and smithys lurcher gave me the two i am using now crackers aswell, none of this was asked for but from making some good friends from getting out with people we have come to help each other out when needed.

 

Shame i just have nothing he wants at the mo. apart from them soft gloves you had mate
