blood in dog shit

my dog is 7 months old for the past few days he has had blood in his shit and to day he has started being sick tge blood is very small 5ml long 3ml wide can any one help pls

Best bet is the vets it could be Parvo,but even if it isn't at least the vet will rule out anything serious,good luck

If a dog has parvo i been told it has a destinctive smell, the sshit that is.

Blood and mucous in your dog's stools does indicate a problem, but it will require your vet to sort out the cause and determine the appropriate treatment.

 

The condition could be due to:

 

•A worm infestation such as roundworm, tapeworm or hookworm

•A virus such as parvo or corona, and yes, a vaccinated dog can still pick up these viruses, but usually to a lesser degree

•A case of colitis, sometimes referred to as irritable bowel syndrome

Basically, I recommend that you contact your vet and take in a stool sample for analysis. Your vet will examine the stool for parasites, and also test for the presence of certain viruses and bacteria.

i took my dog to the vet it turns out he had worms after 1 tablet thay all came out hes stools are soiled again and he is doing fine thanks again
