wuyang 513
Nothing looks worse than a fat whippet/lurcher, but given there natural racey phyique most given a moderate run look trim and fit for anything. So what my point is how many of you are there that have great expectations but don't put the work in yourselves, and who admits to if its no good its gone. Mine get moderate exercise and are here to stay no matter how few rabbits they catch. Edited December 24, 2009 by wuyang Quote Link to post
irishnut 297
my terriers get walked whether they want to or not, usually couple of miles everyday, plus whatever they get up to in garden during the day. i'm getting a lurcher on tuesday next, may have to do double walkies, 4 dogs, 2 being pups of around 4 months and under, the others are a young terrier and a 2yr old terrier, could be too much to handle in one go. but i think to myself its all worth it, as an unfit dog cant do its job to the full, i have great expectations, but i think i am entitled to as i put the work in. wouldn't swap them, if they turn out to be useless, give them away as a pet. to much of this trading in for a new model because the owner is more useless than he/she thinks the dog is Edited December 24, 2009 by irishnut Quote Link to post
