luckyplum 50
i went ferreting this morning at a big old yard my friend has bought to store his plant, i took three ferrets and both my beddy/whippets,when i arrived i was greeted by a big ,lean, lab that belonged to someone else who was doing some work for my mate.the lab followed us round all morning and at first i was holding the collar of the lab so that he did,nt bite the ferrets or the other way round ! eventually i had to let him get on with it and he was good as gold ! he ended up putting his snout down the holes (not really what i wanted) and taking a great interest in both the rabbits and the ferrets.the lab was from working parents but had,nt done any work himself but i started looking at him and thinking lab x greyhound and imagining a nice lurcher that would work fur and feather, i think i,m convinced !! cheers plum ! gnipper 6,891
I took the dogs for a walk on a different place today and met a lad who had a bull/grey x lab with him, I don't think it gets worked much but it was well built and looked like it could run. As for farm dogs appearing on the lamp last year me and a mate were lamping something when 2 massive alsations appeared in the beam knowing these 2 aren't playful types I was off like f**k Quote Link to post
TOM TERRIER 173
When i was a kid my parents had a springer spaniel, i used to take it out with my ferrets and it would catch the occasional bolted rabbit! Quote Link to post

Don't know where it came from for where it went. Strange. Quote Link to post
