Dont do no harm, they only eat long pieces an swollow to make themselves sick. its normal. What i did with my pup hes 7 months now, its a pain in the arse but find a small fence to start off with with no barb wire on top, an jump over it urself and encourage the dog to jump it, once hes jumped over, jump back over yourself a few times, its a pain i know but it does work, i did this with my dog an cause he was gettin the confidence on jumpin this fence, hed go over by him self when i asked him to. Hope this helps Rhian

craigyboy 1,274
dogs eat grass to make themselves sick is a myth...dogs are carnivores but they also eat a small percentage of vegetable matter,i feed my dogs barf and when i take them out i let em graze like sheep
Johnny85 50
We have a pack of hounds and they often eat grass to make themselves sick. Never seen one to eat grass and not get sick. Make sure you worm dog well raw flesh/mince is best feed possible but it will give them worms. All the best. Johnny85
jackard 36
right let me see if i can put some light on dogs eating grass , a dog doesnt eat grass to make its self sick , it eats the grass as there is some thing in the grass that it needs for its bodly function. it makes the dog sick as a dog cant digest raw veg so the body discards it. thats why dogs will eat horse or cow sht when in the field ( its only grass )but already processed thats why it isnt thrown back up . any carnivore that kills will eat the stomach contents first for this reason. also as for your dog getting worms from raw meat its better to freeze the meat for at least 3 weeks before its fed to your dogs this way it helps to kills most parasites ( i.e. worms and eggs ) i feed the barf diet with holistic biscuit the only way to feed your dog . hope this helps and atb jackard
