He should get jailed for keeping a fighting dog in a family enviroment as well as the manslaughter charge.These type of dogs should only be kept and used for the job they were intended for

so everyone with a staff or english should be jailed then???

Edited to mean illeagal fighting dog.Those that have staffs or E.B.T or any terrier around young children should realise they are not the best type of dogs for pets.

LOL , staffords have the best reputation for being good with children,

anyone with a basic knowledge of dogs knows this, common sense is the main requirment for owning any dog especially around kids,

Hagar,i'd normally agrre with you,but it seems in this day and age commom sense is becoming scarce,

can we put that down to the parents of the last generation?lately anyone who owns or breeds these type of dogs are obviously disregarding human safety at the expense of owning or perpetuating these breeds either in

the form of status symbols or simply just to keep their status alive,there really is no place for these dogs

and they have become victims of their own superlative success,or rather idiots who own them are preserving

the breed,one thing is for sure legislation will now be updated,
