Guest warren
Borders are my favorte Terriers, I have kept them for a good while now. I think they are the most biddable of the bunch! My Terriers arnt dug to nearly as much as what some of the peoples Terriers of THL are! We get the odd Fox what we find or put to ground. Its true that some are a bit later than others at getting started, the little bitch 'Cherry', I have hold of in the photo found a Dog and Vixen to ground when she was only nine months old, yes far too young I know but most of the time my Terriers are running with my pack, 'with locator collars on of course' they hunt like Hounds aswell! They are great little ratters. Mine are shot over regular and they arnt bad at the ferriting job either. So over all I would say the Border is a very versatile little Dog. Guest warren
how do you control them warren, mines chaos.fairplay Hi goldfinch. My Terriers came first and you will know that Hounds copy from their kennel (pack) mates, my Terriers are very biddable. My little Hounds and Hound crosses are out with me and Terriers as soon as they have had their jabs and when they are this young they soon learn the whistle of course they can sometimes be a little deaf but they arnt bad and if I am desperate to lift their heads and stop them hunting I simply go mad on the whistle and it normally does the trick.
