can anyone give me advise on my terrier,he,s keen ,if not too keen, to catch rabbits for me but goes at it like a bull in a china shop, he runs right past closer rabbits while giving chase to one miles away. this is my first terrier and he,s exellent on rats his nose for game is near damn perfect when he says its, in or down ,there it always has been!!!!

i just cant steady him up enough to catch rabbits properly he,s fast enough but just goes mad???

any advise welcome.
