Kye 77
Well i made the 1600 mile drive to my new place in the Mid-West..the Izuzu Rodeo made it in one, it took me two days to drive, and i was shitting it the whole way, because i had my wallet stollen in Vegas and had NO I.D at all...if i got pulled i was f****d!..lol. So ive gone from 2.5 acres in the middle of Las-Vegas, to 5.5 acres in Missouri...everything shuts at 7;00..lol. We got a nice two bedroom farm cottage, with a small lake, a barn, and a few small out buildings.. The lake is FULL of fish, and me and FR (he lives just 25 minutes away) have been hammering the fish in there...so far we have had Catfish to 10lbs, loads of Large Mouth Bass to around the 3 1/2lb (we are sure there are bigger ones in there..i would guess up to the six pound mark!?) loads of Pan Fish ie Sunfish, Crappie, Yellow Perch, and BlueGill...not to menstion turtles, garter snakes, and at least five different types of frog, including the HUGE Bull Frog...me and FR have seen them to around the 1lb mark!.. All our neighbours are about 3/4 of a mile away, so no worries there...one old farmer seems real nice and he has given us a little permission already...we havent been out digging (apart from one invite just the other day) but we have managed to account for a Ground Hog, about seven possoms, and around six Raccoons...we even have a few earths on the property!..lol. Loads of deer and turkey running around, and we hear the coyotes most nights...so much wildlife, and loads of birds of prey.. The house has been a f*****g nightmare mind you!.. The two bedrooms we have done for the kids, so me and the bread knife have been living in the basement...we are going to convert it, so that it has a master bedroom, a bathroom, a weights room, and a room where she can do her sowing and stuff...what with leaking pipes in the yard, doing wooden floors, having to take the doors off to fit the bloody new sofa in, bad pipes in the house, bad wires, not to mention we havent been able to start the kennels yet!... Should have the new kennels sorted buy the month...at the moment just getting the little jobs done, but the kennel is the new priority!... Hopefully me and FR 'aint to bad at block work!?...we will soon find out! Taffy, if you read this, Royston has the pup at the moment, but my Da should be coming over this month and he said he will bring it..if not Royston should be coming the month after...he should have a nice new kennel to live in buy then!.. I will try and get some pictures sorted for you guys soon, have to get the lass to post them!..all the best for now. Kye,..

Kye 77
Ian, Molly, you are welcome ANY time...for as long as you want guys. I will get the wife to post some pics for me later guys! Regarding Raccoons!...if i could only hunt one quarry type if i could only hunt one quarry with terriers, it would be Raccoons...any type of dog can work them, but if you have a harder type dog, that is when you can see what they are made of!...truely a facinating animal to hunt...body like a badger, the bite of a red fox, but with the skull of a huge cat, and hands like a bloody monkey!..lol...i love hunting them, and i respect them alot! We got a new digi camera the other day, so i will try and get some pics up!
