how would i introduce my ferret to rabbiting is it just a case of putting it down the hole and let it figure it out for himself or what any help will be great

how old is the ferret mate<if its anything under six months of age dont bother it wont be in the ferrets interest,its neck could easily be broken by a rabbits kick,however a bit older let it go into a smaller bury with hopeful;ly rabbits at home ,it might play around for a bit but let it play and then try it in another hole until it goes in one way and out of another hole,if it bolts a rabbit dont put it back in the same hole has the rabbit came out of, put it in the furthest hole away.

Never heard of such tripe. rabbit breaking a ferts neck,

 

Im also with Ricky, i start mine slowly from 4 months.

well i dont beleive the fact that they wont be interested, but they could get some damage from a big buck sitting up,

i would just wait till there fully grown, take them to a small warren

and let nature take it`s course.

Just start them off on 3 to 4 holes if they are this years young. Then next year they will start to work deep thats how i work them and they come along fine. Its all down to you work them alot and they will become grate.
