Pignut 4
Mine have pilchards in tomato for breakfast very often! They love it and when my lurcher had an operation on his cruciate ligament a few months back, the vet said his joint was absolutely fantastic considering his age (13) and he had the joints of a youngster. All that oily fish!
Annmarie09 5
My dog has sardines in tomato sauce two or three times a week, she loves it! Tomatoes a few times a week are good for men, they help to prevent prostate problems, so if your dog is a male it may even benefit him that way, I think it's something to do with free radicals or something like that. Hannah4181 260
Mine get sardines in tomato sauce 3 times a week, as said above the combination of oily fish and the tomato is excellent for both joints and breaking down acid in the urine . . . . . . meant to help stop bitches leaving brown patches on the grass from their urine! In certainly helps with that as well as giving the dog a more varied and balanced diet.
arcticgun 4,548
Mine get pilchards in tomato sauce once or twice a week, they seem to enjoy it, and the oil in the fish seems to make their coats shine, atvb Richard
