aaronpigeonplucker 32
right an offer has come up on PW forums of a guy in my area who wants to swap his air arms s200 with a 10 shot converter and scope for a similar rifle in .177. know i love my s400classic in .177 but i have been looking for a lighter rifle as its just a tad too heavy for standing shots. so what do you say? hes in south wales should i take the offer? the rifle is in good condition. im reluctant to part ways with my s400 but i have been looking for a liighter rifle. aaronpigeonplucker 32
i have handled the s200 before and its the perfect weight for me its just i liked the s400 stcok more. now i see that perfomance is more important than looks. i'm just not sure wether to stcik with the s400 or do the swap. marko 30
there is a big difference in price on these guns i had one in 177 with the 10 shot mag and it was deadly accurate but the stopping power was not as good as the 22, in the end i sold it and picked up the s410k in 22 well better and more shot count. Guest jt750
If its too heavy fore standing shots get yourself a standing rest or even better make one yourself .the 400 is a much better rifle IMO as i owned one and shot the other many times Quote Link to post
3jackwhite3 2
the trigger on the s400 is much better than the s200, i had the s200 and could not shoot it well but then i swapped it for an s410 and the trigger was so much better and i shot better because of it. keep the s400 you will grow into it soon dont worry. Phantom 631
Hi buddy, The 400 is a prettier gun than the 200, but personally (I've used both) I reckon that they shoot as well as each other. I would keep the 400 and you eventually will get used to the weight. If you dont then you could allways get down the gym and hit the weights Take care Phantom Quote Link to post
