the owl 0 Posted October 7, 2009 Report Share Posted October 7, 2009 hello guys, just wondering how many of you guys lamp/ferret on southerndown golf course...it used to be quite good up there... hi mate lamped it many a nite ok for a few runs just drive up and park by the club house never been botherd and the dunes park ogmore side and walk over the brige took good numbers off there and my mates have not everytime its hit or miss good wind is better but be careful also lost a young dog there broke his back so takecare Quote Link to post

Guest GoneToGround1 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Share Posted October 12, 2009 im a valley boy storm head england way is your best bet l what bags do you say youve caught around these parts? lol now thats a goood 1, england way? come on how big is england???!!!! theres good and bad places in england i lamp around a bit, seen a few photos of nights out in merthyr mawr years ago a few mates of mine took big numbers off there the owl being 1 of them but also boys by me have lost dogs down there to breaking necks/backs again the owl being 1 of them boys, lamped southerndown golf the rabbits are sharp there and never far from the hedges wouldnt waste my time going down there any more but theres still a few spots nearby where you will get a few good runs but its nothing like years ago Quote Link to post

Guest GoneToGround1 Posted October 14, 2009 Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 must be a diffrent merthyr mawr to the one i no,how long ago are we talking? about 5 years id say? maybe just over? my mate took i think 28 off there around 3 years ago. its crap now too many people lamp it...last time i lamped it we took 8 off there with young dogs and thats without lamping the flats. hit or miss. iv also seen pics of about 8-10 years ago now 30 plus rabbits regular took off there...im sure the owl was there them nights and maybe pink head and the fox Quote Link to post
