as chaz could not make it friday,we decided to go out saturday evening to oxfordshire

we got there about 4:30pm and just had a quick look around with the binos. and could see that there ws a few out,and also we watched a green woodpecker for about half an hour.and what a sight it was lovely colouring on it and had like a red crown on,couldnt get a pic as it didnt stay still for very long.

well i went over to my part of the field where i usally go and chaz went to the training ring.i was sat there for about and hour before the first bunny showed its self, then another and another 3 straight out and chasing each other,so i let them settle for 10minutes before i staerted to THWACK em.as im just getting ready to shoot they came about 25yds from me and started grazing and for a while the shot was blocked by long grass.

so a small suck of me lips "a squeak" and up popped its head THWACK! over it went its paws up in the air for that final stretch and it disapeared in to the grass ,so took a reference point to where it fell and remembered it.the other 2 ran one went straight in to the hedge the other ran about 10yds so AAS410 to shoulder THWACK! a small flip and it also disapeared in to the grass.by this time the light was fading fast but 20minutes later another came out looking for its mate, this one was 41yds on the range finder,so once again up came the AAS410K THWACK! now the the light had almost gone so i thought i would be a good idea to go pick em up

i went back to the car for a cuppa and a fag,got me self set up for a bit of lamping.chaz came back with 2 as well, so my math made that 5.of we went again, this time i went to the east side of the paddock while chaz went west.i got to my position and just sat there in total darness for an half hour ,let my breathing become more relaxed and had a quick flick of the lamp.i spotted 2 on the fence line and turned the lamp of for a minute or two while i got ready to take the shot,on came the lamp THWACK!THWACK! 2 down straight away :gunsmilie: i gave it a while before i got them but when i got there i only found one :wallbash:

so by this time it was about 9:00pm so we packed up and went to the business park as tings became very quiet after that last shot

so we got to the business park got are selfs set up,and went straight to the top of the park.chaz went around the back of the building and i went on to a paert where there is still some builders rubbish. i had a quick flick and there was a red jewle so down on one knee THWACK! i went to get it and paced it back 39 paces so was happy with that :gunsmilie: and chaz cme back with one aswell so not bad for 5 minutes on permission

as the time went on we only managed another one, so that was a total of ten.

7 @ the paddock & 3 @ the park, when we gutted them and took the final pic there was only nine so me and chaz reckon one had escaped :whistling: or are math is bad
