miketrap24 1
I thought I'd post a photo of my beddy pup who is 5 months old today...he is going on Wednesday for his first hair cut. I haven't started him out yet as he's only 5 months and is teething with his second teeth only just starting to break through Quote Link to post

shepp 2,285
I would leave him till the spring, thick coat will keep him warm and stop him getting scratched up if he goes into cover which might otherwise put him off. Quote Link to post

I hope she looks as good as yours at that age stunner mate... chocolate? thats exactly what i'm after next will definately get another one cos i am so impressed with mine so far i did want a bitch to begin with but only thing around at the time was a dog and i was so determined to get myself a beddy i compromised never mind its an excuse now to look out for a bitch as well :Donly prob we had was he didnt like the lead lol wed put it around his neck and he would just lie down all 4 legs spread so his belly was flat to the floor ...luckily this only lasted 2-3 attemps before he realised it was fun yeah it prob is a good idea to keep his coat while going through the brush but havent decided how short he will be yet will discuss it with the groomer on wednesday. As for going to ground the dog was bought for bushing and marking and ferretting if he decided to go to ground it would be of his own making and i wont discourage it but he has to show me its what he wants.
