Turning into a paper punchers site :tongue2: you'll be using flatheads next Davy :laugh: ...good on you for taking the time out to have a bit of a play about with different pellets :victory: AA Field all the way for me tho :gunsmilie:

yes !! andy

i tried these as they were recomended to me, and also the price of lead. so would be handy to get another brand with the same results. have to do one for my HW100 .177

so if you have any superdomes in .177!! or any one else has another brand that is not on here but is as good, then i would gladly do another test and post it .send me a few because i would like to try a few more good brands!!

tanks!! for the comments lads!!

I use Feild Target Trophy in my AAs400 .22 and everything I hit with them I kill with them, well just about :wallbash:

I prefer them to the AA pellets because the skirts on them are a lot tougher than the AA ones, and that they shoot well in my my gun :)

Just run a tin of accupels in .177 through the 410 and must admit there a very good pellet tight groupings and good smack . Last tin i ran through the 410 were aa diablos and they were good to. Busy bashing some defiants through the hw100 in .22 jesus they don`t half do sum damage .

very informative and good write up davy mate :D

my .20 cal rapid likes jsp's but i do find them hard to get hold of in that calibre so i set my sights with the Field targets as i have got about 4 tins of them and i was hitting a coke lid consistantly at 35 yards so i was pleased with them and the trajectory at 40+ yards was surprisingly good with hardly any drop i find the .20 very simular to a 177 but just got more hitting power and surface area on impact which is slightly weird as the pellet is closer to a .22 pellet..

the jsp's tend to be a good pellet in the .20 and also logun pentrators but they are as rare as rocking hose poo so have to make do with what you can get hold of..

cheers

Hi, mate.

I've been with .20 for a while now after .177 for ten years or so.

I almost hate to recomend this but give ebay a try. I've had all sorts of ammo from there at really keen prices.

Give Baracudas a go and if you've not tried Defiants, I'd recomend them too.

Cheers.

PS. Davy, PM me your address for the ammo you need. I've got some you may want to try.
